ABOUT me

Christina Kwong is a dedicated and passionate educator with a rich and diverse professional background. As a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a graduate of UC Irvine, she is currently advancing her expertise as a graduate student in Educational Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in the University of Southern Maine. With 11 years of hands-on experience in ABA and 10 years of teaching English, Christina has worked with a wide range of learners. This unique combination of experience with both special and general education clients enables her to draw insightful parallels between the two fields, fostering a holistic, deeply nuanced understanding of educational development.

At Little Unicorn, my goal is to transform the traditional learning sequence. I believe education must prioritize building a strong, unshakable foundation before layering on complex skills. More than just academic knowledge, I emphasize cultivating a strong core in every learner: passion and curiosity. Passion drives engagement and perseverance, while curiosity fuels the desire to explore and understand the world. By nurturing these intrinsic qualities first, we create resilient, self-motivated learners who are not only prepared to absorb information but are also excited to embark on a lifelong journey of discovery. Little Unicorn is dedicated to this philosophy, ensuring that every educational step strengthens the roots from which future growth will flourish.
